It is also a powerful machine with plenty of speed options that make it versatile. The belts are of good quality and do not suffer from slippage or squealing. The pulley enclosure is made of sheet metal, and picking up some adhesive-backed foam weather-stripping is recommended to quieten it down. The drill press does not have a threaded spindle, but given its price-to-size-to-power ratio, it would be unfair to dock points for its absence. This drill press is perfect for any task that suits a drill press. However, attempting tasks beyond its capabilities is not recommended. The default packaging of the product is underwhelming, but it arrives intact.
