Does the plant come with it?
Answer: No, plants are not included. 1 owl is included. -

Is the metal part water resistant?
Answer: Will leak, with small gaps between glass panels for drainage, not designed to be hydroponic planters. For glass terrariums, the big problem is how to prevent overwatering. 1) Please add a layer of water-absorbing layers, like dried moss, at the bottom. 2) Please use sprayer to water the plants. -
Question:
Are the seams water tight?
Answer: The black and silver are water tight. They are soldered but cannot be used as a hydroponic container. The gold cannot hold water at all. -
Question:
What kind of metal is it made of?
Answer: It is made of 99.9% tin. -
Question:
Is the opening on top for plant height?
Answer: This is a regular shape. One pentagon panel is the open. You can place any panel down and the opening can face any direction you want. -
Question:
I'm interested in the Gold with Feet, because it has a door. Any suggestions on how to make the bottom panels watertight?
Answer: I'm going to apply a small amount of super glue where the bottom panels meet on mine. -
Question:
Can the silver one be used for a small bamboo plant with water and small rocks?
Answer: This silver option and the black option are both tin-sealed. However, they cannot be used as a hydroponic flower pot. It can not hold water. -
Question:
Does it have good enough airflow for an epiphyte (tillandsia)?
Answer: Top is completely open. -
Question:
Can I use this to display crystals?
Answer: Yes, many buyers use it as a display box. Please check the size of your crystals before purchase.
