The Qingping Air Monitor Lite is a specialized device used to track air quality and humidity. The device offers Wi-Fi connectivity, Apple HomeKit compatibility and is capable of tracking Carbon dioxide (CO2), PM2.5, PM10, temperature and humidity which makes it suitable for people with indoor air quality issues. The device is usable with one of the two different applications, Qingping+ app or the Apple Home app. The former offers the ability to check and export the latest 30-day data in CSV format while the latter requires a hub to operate the device if one wants to use it to trigger an automation. The CO2 sensor is NDIR type but varies by 50 to 150 PPM from aranet4’s sensor. Some of the device's standout features include its HomeKit integration, ability to monitor air quality from outside the house and having a battery that can work for short power outages. However, the device's app is not user friendly and monitoring the device at night can be difficult due to the display's brightness. Furthermore, there is no way to control the display state using HomeKit, which is a major disadvantage. Finally, the package was damaged in shipping for some customers, and the device had a noisy fan or read inaccurately according to some reviews.
