Answer: I bought one of these for my son's birthday a while ago. It was so disappointing, he gave up after the third box as they were terrible. Really hard to scratch off and didn't leave a nice clean image underneath. The idea is awesome, he was very excited about it, but unfortunately not a great product. -

What do people think is the minimum age for these anime?
Answer: Personally no…there's a couple extremely brutal ones such as Akeira which personally I was slightly disturbed by, I suggest more studio Ghibli for such a young age. However, it depends on how mature or gory they are.
