The ESP LTD TL-6 Thinline Acoustic Electric Guitar is a great guitar that has a resonant chamber, black finish, and built-in pickup. It's designed to sound excellent when plugged into an amp, PA, or recording rig. However, when played unplugged, it doesn't sound very impressive, but is useful for quiet practice. In a small setting, it's loud enough, but for a stage or large room, it's recommended to amp it. It works great acoustically for practice sessions, but when played on stage or in a large room, it should be amped. The guitar is great for recording, and sounds fantastic straight up through a Shure MVI. It's also a good guitar for playing board games or watching television. The guitar is beautifully manufactured in Indonesia and has an excellent Grover tuner that enhances the use of multi-effect processors. The guitar is longer than most, and fitting it into a case can be a challenge. The electronic tuner is not very accurate, but the Fishman TL3 sound adjustment provides top-notch clear tone changes.
