The PageFlip Butterfly is a foot pedal designed for hands-free page turning. It works with any software that responds to arrow keys such as Microsoft Windows, Foxit PDF Reader, ForeScore, and Music and Playlists. It is not a push button but rather has the feel of a conventional pedal. The pedal is compatible with the iBooks app and doesn't have any lights on the pedals themselves. In comparison to other PageFlip models, the Butterfly lacks the programmable mode buttons, illuminated pedals, wireless operation, heft/ruggedness, and auxiliary outlets for external pedals that the Firefly has. Despite the lack of bells and whistles, the PageFlip Butterfly is still a sturdy and affordable option for musicians or anyone in need of hands-free page turning.
