Answer: If you're asking if you can have this monogrammed you should reach out to Oneida directly. If you are asking if you should have it monogrammed I wouldn't. The space where you could put an initial is very small. I don't believe it would be attractive. The Dover design might work better if you really want to add a monogram and would like a similar Oneida set. -

Answer: These are thick, heavy and a bit larger than any silverware I've ever owned. No, I do not recommend for small children. However, I can scoop ice cream. 😉 -
