Military Editorial Review

In the Light of What We Know is a serious novel that brings together emotional and political cut-to-the-bone dynamics of human relations, international political intrigues, mathematical models, and the machinations of financial markets, while also observing class and caste and religion both Eastern and Western. Although this book is a little esoteric and the plot is slow, the amount of information in this story is breathtaking, leading to ultimate satisfaction and appreciation for the artistry in the writing. Despite its Bayesian title, the book is not all about determinacy but about smart people and the inescapability of social clad and racial prejudice. It is a beautiful novel.
