This Cheese Raclette is a small, portable device that comes with a foldable handle, spatula and three tea light candles to melt cheese in under four minutes. It is not made in the USA, but it is dishwasher safe even though it is better to use handwash. One customer wished it had an electric heating element instead of tea lights and another complained of it being lopsided. On the other hand, a customer creatively used it for cheese fondue and another one loves it enough to get another one. The Cheese Raclette is effective for melting cheese, easy to clean and has a great wooden handle for heat protection and storage. A minor disadvantage is the raw wooden surface which needs conditioning oil to protect and smoothen it. It is a quick cheese melting device but takes some time to melt the cheese.
