This AL519 OBD2 scanner by Autel can read and erase diagnostic codes for a wide range of vehicles manufactured from 1996 onwards, with lifetime free software updates. However, it does not check mpg or program keyless remote, and it cannot relearn the TCM. It comes with a six-foot cable, and there is a workaround to print data by disabling driver enforcement mode. On the positive side, customers have used it to obtain transmission codes for a 2005 Chevy pickup and seem to find it handy for other diagnostic tasks, with one customer commenting 'it worked great on my 2005 Chevy pickup'.
