Answer: I've used it to frame a 12x24 workshop and it performed perfectly. I have had no trouble at all with intermittent (trigger-operated) tools of any sort. -

Answer: Don't have a clue as to where it is made or assembled, but I can tell you for the money it can't be beat. Its built out of good quality materials and is very sturdy. -

Answer: You will need a moisture trap if you’re going to spray paint. -

Do the hose couplings need you to retract the fitting sleeve to insert the hose?
Answer: The female coupler with the pump is a Universal type that will take most male connectors, commonly either Automotive style or Industrial style, although there are one or two others. The automotive version, with the wider nubbin/collar easily slides in and catches; the narrow-collared male type goes in at first but requires you to pull the sleeve back and push that type deeper in before you get a solid catch and seal. -
