The Mini Gulp Dust Hood by Peachtree Woodworking is a trusted brand among woodworking enthusiasts. The grates on the product prevent large pieces from entering the hoses or tearing the dust collector bags during use. The hood can be fixed to a dust collection system with a 4" port which works great, but according to one customer, the suction depends on the vacuum used. The hood is 7 1/4 inches by 13 1/2 inches in dimensions and has a depth of exactly six inches (6"). Some customers state that it helps to capture the dust during sanding and when used under a grinder. Others have used it at the bottom shelf corners of a miter saw station. One customer, however, reduced the rating by one star as the full dimensions of the product were not available prior to receiving the part, thereby forcing a rework of the project. Another customer mentions they had to cut out all the vanes on the airflow-end.
