The Upgrade Version CNC 3018 Pro is a mini CNC machine with PCB milling and wood router engraving capabilities. It can be controlled both online and offline with an ER11 and 5mm extension rod. The product is sold at a great price and is way easier to assemble than regular CNC 3018. However, learning to use it requires time and patience. After assembly, the offline control unit can be utilized to test the functions with the spindle immediately. Connecting it to a computer might take some time, but it does go smoothly for the most part. A couple of issues that may arise when connecting to a computer include the com port not showing up immediately, but it shows up once the unit is turned on. Another issue is the absence of limit stops, which might cause some peace of mind concerns. Customers have had mostly positive experiences with the Upgrade Version CNC 3018 Pro. Although some customers have had issues with the control board and the laser, they have praised the company's customer service for being easy to work with.
