They aren't all mesh so, of course, need some dry time but drain fast. They do not stop pronation but rather help prevent overstressing the Achilles tendon and calf muscle. The insoles that come with the shoes have very little arch support, so if you want more of either, you need to purchase your own insoles. The shoes have a wide toe box, are lightweight, and have good traction for trail running.
