Ear Gear Wax Guards 55742 Editorial Review
**** The product in question, designed to protect behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aids, has garnered a mixed reception among customers. Many users appreciate its ability to keep sweat away from their devices, especially under extreme temperatures, with one customer noting the comfort and aesthetic appeal of the camouflage option. The general Consensus is that these protectors help maintain the cleanliness and condition of hearing aids, which can be a significant investment, underscoring their perceived value among users who prioritize device longevity. However, some customers express disappointment regarding the product’s inability to repel moisture effectively. A notable critique mentions that the Ear Gear doesn’t offer waterproof protection, which many users Consider the primary function of such a product. Another reviewer goes to the extent of suggesting that a DIY alternative using an old T-shirt would serve just as well, citing concerns about the perceived high cost relative to the quality and production value of the product. Despite these criticisms, those who find them effective appreciate the stylish designs and the protection they do provide against sweat, thus indicating that while the product functions well for some, it may fall short for others, particularly regarding moisture resistance. **
