Nutritionist's Take
ProSource TF Free 25/45 ml pouches present a convenient protein supplement option, primarily composed of high-quality whey or soy protein isolate, making it a suitable choice for individuals seeking to increase their protein intake without added sugars or fats. Nutritionists appreciate the product for its relatively low-calorie count while providing essential amino acids, crucial for muscle recovery and overall health. However, some may voice concerns over potential allergens, particularly for those with soy sensitivities. Additionally, while the quick-dispensing pouches offer excellent portability, they may not provide enough satiation on their own. Overall, for those adhering to high-protein diets, including athletes and individuals on weight loss programs, this product can be beneficial. However, it's recommended to complement this supplement with whole food sources for a balanced diet.
Medtrition Ready to Drink Editorial Review
Medtrition prosource TF Free Liquid Plant-Based Protein offers 15 grams of protein per 45 mL in a single pouch and is designed specifically for tube feeding. It arrives in convenient pre-measured pouches, making it easy to use and dispose of after consumption. However, customers have expressed disappointment as the product is advertised as a pack of 25, yet many reported receiving only one packet instead. This inconsistency has led to frustration, particularly since returns aren't an option. Despite the quality of the protein not being questioned, the confusion over the packaging has overshadowed its intended benefits for those in need of liquid protein options.
