Answer: It’s one or the other, not simultaneous. -

Answer: Yes, it can. It's a handy bit of kit. -

Answer: It was never used in the studio as it set up a constant buzz. It's gathering dust on the studio roof. -

Answer: Unfortunately, it set up a constant buzz in our studio and was never used for recording. -

Answer: The monitor speaker's input needs to be connected to this, but there is a way to do it for sure! -

Answer: I don't know what you're referring to, but all I got in the box was the big knob.
