The Jamo S 801 speakers are small and would be ideal for a small living room or in-office with great sound. These speakers require the connection of speaker wire to a receiver for audio signal and power. They do not feature wireless connectivity. The cabinets are slightly trapezoidal with the angled bottom stands that tilt them slightly back. While Klipsch doesn't make speaker mounts or stands, Crutchfield.com is a recommended option in finding the best mount option for the speakers. The build quality of the speakers is good and they are heavy for the size, with a woodgrain vinyl wrap over MDF. The midrange is light, but the Jamo 803 tower speakers would offer a better full midrange sound. To get the best sound out of these speakers, a subwoofer like the Jamo 808 is suggested. These speakers are not intended to be used as speakers for a two-channel stereo setup or as fronts for a large system, as above 85 dB they tend to push hard. They're perfect for rear surrounds on a Yamaha RX-V6A receiver. Overall, these speakers are a great value for their price, with very full, clear sound with a sizeable price tag.
