  • Question: To make soup do you have to use entire container. How much soup can you make with this?

    Answer: I like a little more flavor so I use 1 Tablespoon to 1 quart hot water. This according to my calculations this container will make 21.2 quarts of broth. Hope this helps.
  • Question: What are the ingredients of the vegetable base?

    Answer: The ingredients in our vegetable soup base are salt, dehydrated vegetables (carrots, tomatoes), sugar, potato starch, spices (basil, celery, oregano & rosemary), paprika, vegetable oil (canola, extra virgin olive), parsley.
  • Question: Have does this taste with rice?

    Answer: This vegetable base is great as is the chicken base. You add water to make stock. If you cook rice in vegetable broth you can cook it in this
  • Question: Can you sprinkle this on veggies or rice, or does it have to be cooked into foods?

    Answer: You could sprinkle it sparingly on food, but it would help if the food is somewhat moist so it sticks. I say sparingly, because it's meant to be used as a soup/stock at the ratio of 1 teaspoon to 1 cup of water. Also, some people say it's quite salty, but not to my taste.
  • Question: Is this product yeast free and MSG free?

    Answer: Y
  • Question: How many tablespoons can you get out of 1 jar?

    Answer: About 30 tbls. The jar lists 91 tsp and 3 tsps make a tb
  • Question: Do I just substitute this when a recipe calls for bullion?

    Answer: Yes! Super simple easy replacement! You can also just add water to make a broth or add it to a butter/flour mixture to make a sauce :)
  • Question: What exactly are the “spices”?

    Answer: I’m not sure exactly but it tastes like chicken broth but is pretty salty. Good though.
