Precalculus: A Functional Approach to Graphing and Problem Solving is a comprehensive textbook that spans 770 pages, providing a broad overview necessary for mastering precalculus concepts. Published by Jones & Bartlett Learning, while it covers most essential topics, reviewers have pointed out that it contains numerous typos and errors in formulations, which may hinder understanding and problem-solving. Additionally, some users noted that sections on partial fraction decomposition and parabola rotation could benefit from improved explanations and techniques. Thus, while it serves as a decent resource, prospective students should be prepared to supplement their learning.
