The Ximoon 3D6 100 Humidifier Wick Filter Replacement for Essick Air 1040 B40 Super Wick is a compatible filter which is advertised as a replacement for the original equipment manufacturer filter. While some customers found that they worked just as well as the OEM filters at half the cost, others experienced issues with wicking moisture and compatibility with their humidifier. The paper material and Construction of these filters are different from the OEM version which led to swelling and less efficient water and air filtration. While some customers were satisfied with the product, others found that it did not work effectively and had to return or replace their order.
