This wireless microphone requires 2 AA batteries for the transmitter and 2 AAA batteries for the receiver. It cannot sync more than one microphone with a single receiver, but you can use 2 mic sets together with two receivers. The microphone can work with speaker systems with a 1/4" mic input as long as the JBL party box 310 has that input. The microphone is easy to set up and use, though battery use is expensive. One user had issues with battery-powered microphones turning on and off during sporadic use. Another user said the microphone cut in and out and was unusable. It is unknown if the microphone can work with a universal receiver programming.
