Density Expanding Foam Kit comes in a quart size, which consists of 1 pint of Part A and 1 pint of Part B. When fully cured, this foam produces 1.25 cubic feet, ensuring ample coverage for your needs. One of the standout features of this foam is its compatibility with various resins. Once fully cured, you can easily laminate it over with polyester, epoxy, or vinyl ester resin without worrying about melting or deformation.
This allows for seamless integration with other materials in your boat or dock projects. Please note that the expansion rates and times of this foam are temperature critical. In temperatures below 75° F, the expansion rate may be lower, requiring more foam. The ideal working temperature is 75° to 80° F or above, ensuring optimal performance. Before foaming, you have approximately 45 seconds of working time. The foam will then begin to expand, reaching full expansion in approximately 5 minutes. As always, safety is a top priority.
