What is included in the kit?
Answer: The kit includes enough supplies to make 4 jar candles including soy wax, wicks, bottles of scented oil, candle jars, dye blocks, cotton wicks, glue dots, warning labels, candle wick holders, a thermometer, and an instruction guide. -

Are the materials eco-friendly?
Answer: Yes, the candles are made with premium organic soy wax and pre-waxed cotton wicks that are 100% biodegradable and non-toxic. -

Is the kit suitable for beginners?
Answer: Yes, the kit comes with a user manual that is clear and easy to follow, making it suitable for all levels of experience. -

How detailed are the instructions?
Answer: Sorry I don’t remember the instructions but I do believe it came with some. I prefer coconut wax. Soy flashpoint I believe is 180-185 add dye while melting and add fragrance right after removing (175-180) from heat and stir 2-3minutes to bond fragrance and wax. -

Is the pouring pot stainless steel?
Answer: It is fairly lightweight. My guess is that it is aluminum. -

Can the melting pot be placed directly on a stove to heat it?
Answer: No. Use double boiling method. Use a large pot of boiling water then place the melting pitcher inside. I suggest not using black handled ones or take it off. -
Question:
I’m new to candle making, what are the glue dots for?
Answer: They are for holding the wick in place in the container. -
Question:
What size are the candle jars?
Answer: The candle jars are 3.54in height, 2.8in diameter, are prefect for 8oz candle. -
Question:
How many candles can you make with this kit?
Answer: It depends on the size of candle you want to make. I was able to make 4 (4oz) candles with the wax provided. If you want to make larger candles you’ll need to purchase more wax.
