The deep side pockets ensure that a water bottle or other stash doesn't fall out while walking, while the various pockets allow easy access to different bits and pieces of equipment. The bag comes with a bottom zip for easy access to the rain jacket or slippers. Although it might struggle for space for a longer winter hike, the bag is great for a light day of hiking. The hip belt is wide enough to be comfortable, and the bag is suitable for carrying essentials such as water, waterproofs, lunch, and other bits and pieces for the day. The addition of padding on the back along with adjustable padded shoulder straps, chest, and waist straps make it a comfortable pack to wear.
