Answer: There are grease (zerk) fittings that have to be screwed into the holes to be able to grease in the future. -

Answer: Yes, they have a grease fitting and I greased them after I installed them. I also grease them every time I service my car. They are installed on a 2007 Chevy Cobalt and have done okay for the last year, year and a half. Hope this info helps.
