Star Wars Rebellion is a fantastic strategy board game that features unique units, cards, and strategies for the Empire and the Rebels. It is not a fantasy game, but a straight-up strategy board game that is easy to learn but may take some time to master. The mechanics can be confusing at first, but as you play, you'll start to understand them, and the game gets even more fun. The game is designed for 2-4 players with an average game lasting between 3.5-4.5 hours. The game objective is twofold, for the Empire, the sole objective is to find the Rebel base, while the Rebel player has to outlast the Empire for a certain number of turns. Every time you play the game, you get different results, so it never gets boring. The game comes with miniatures, and while the Star Destroyers and Death Stars come in two pieces, the rest are pre-assembled. However, there have been some complaints about the miniatures not fitting together correctly, but Fantasy Flight support can help, and replacements can be sent upon request. The game also requires careful storage, and while it doesn't come with foam inserts, Ziplock bags, and plastic storage trays can suffice. There is everything you need to play the game in the box, so you don't need a computer or a smartphone to play it. The game is also in English, designed in the US and manufactured in China.
