Great Stuff Gaps & Cracks is a fantastic product that does its intended job really well. It is easy to apply with the dispenser straw, flows out like whipped cream and fills all the gaps and holes completely. The foam expands 3 to 5 times and dries in about an hour or two forming a permanent, weather and insect tight seal that can be cut or sanded as per the requirement. It can be used for filling gaps around windows, doors, pipes, baseboards, in eaves, etc. The can is of 12 ounces, and Dow claims one can equals 19 tubes of caulk. After use, the can and applicator seal themselves shut as it dries, so it is a one-time use product. It is recommended to use disposable gloves while using it. The sun affects the surface, so painting is required if the item is used outside. On its downside, the foam can be messy and sticky, and the unused portion must be tossed as the liquid foam inside the long applicator nozzle will dry and harden, making any future uses impossible. Overall it is a highly recommended product with excellent quality and reliability, living up to its name.
