The Rey Mahogany guitar has a beautiful, rich, and deep sound, not too loud, and the strings are soft and easy to press down. The professional luthier set-up of this guitar is impressive, including a low action, no problems with fret sprout, and a thick, protective carry bag. The guitar has an open pore satin finish on the neck and comes with a pickguard that can be included in the front pocket. The price for this guitar is excellent, and it includes a premium padded gig bag in the pack. One downside is that the top is thin, which adds to the sound and tone, but it trades off the stiffness of the top to support the tension of the strings on the bridge. This may cause slight belly bulge just below the bridge. In general, the Orangewood 6 String Acoustic Guitar Pack is a unique and excellent value for a guitar with such a high-quality build and professional setup.
