Although it can shoot 3/4" long staples, the gun is only compatible with Bostitch BCS1200 series and Spotnails 7600 staples, not Senco Q series staples. The product is ideal for T1-11 type siding, leaving small impacts combined with bonding a solid solution. The gun is easy to operate, and you can get 2" stainless staples from lumberyards. Customer reception: Customers had mixed reviews of the BOSTITCH Stapler, 7/16-Inch x 2-Inch (651S5). The tool worked great for vinyl siding, while others found it difficult to set up and operate, dry firing so frequently that hand-nailing was a more viable option.
