Customers can remove and use any sim card of their choice, and it can work with almost all carriers but needs to be unlocked before use. It has a removable SIM card and is not water-resistant. However, according to some customer reviews, there have been problems with the phone's compatibility with Verizon service. Although the box comes with Verizon branding, some customers have claimed that it displays the Tracfone logo and may not work with Verizon.
