Question:
What is the significance of the grounding feature in the Leviton 1228 receptacle?
Answer: The grounding feature of the Leviton 1228 receptacle enhances electrical safety by providing a path for electrical faults to minimize the risk of shock or fire. Question:
Can the Leviton 1228 duplex receptacle be used outdoors?
Answer: The Leviton 1228 duplex receptacle is specifically designed for indoor use. While its residential grade and robust construction make it suitable for various household environments, it is not weather-resistant and should not be exposed to outdoor conditions. For outdoor applications, it is advisable to look for receptacles specifically marked as weatherproof to ensure safety and durability against the elements. -
