The Innova 3040RS code reader is a great tool for diagnosing vehicle issues. It does not require any in-app purchases or subscriptions and is compatible with most vehicles from 1996-2023 related to the check engine light. However, it does not support reading OBD1 or programming key fobs, and is only available for vehicles sold or registered in the US and Canada. Additionally, it cannot reset security systems for any vehicle or perform the function to relearn a crankshaft position sensor.
