It does not require a bridge, and it works with many different brands, including Liftmaster, Mighty Mule, and Hormann SilentDrive 5500. The product does not include a battery, and it comes with a power adapter that can be plugged into an outlet. To open the door, you need to run a wire from the Remootio unit to the opener. You can enable the "Notify if left open" feature in the Remootio app, and you can set after how many seconds you would like to get a notification. The device does not have a port for an external Wi-Fi antenna. If the Wi-Fi signal is low, you can add a Wi-Fi range extender/Wi-Fi hotspot near your gate. Voice control is also free to use. For security reasons, the PIN required by Google Assistant cannot be turned off.
