Atlas Control & Power Supplies 860 Editorial Review
The HO Code 100 Manual Left-Hand Switch has received a variety of feedback from users, primarily reflecting its usability and compatibility with different types of train models. Many customers find this switch straightforward to use, praising its effectiveness for specific layouts, particularly those focused on diesel locomotives. Long-time users appreciate its reliability over the years, especially for certain diesel models like the GP9, which operate smoothly with this product. However, the switch does not cater equally well to all types of locomotives. Users have noted that steam locomotives often experience issues, such as derailing, particularly with models like the 0-8-0 switcher and the 0-4-0 American, unless perfectly aligned. This suggests that while the switch is functional and reliable for specific uses, careful Consideration is required when integrating it into steam-locomotive-centric configurations. Overall, the HO Code 100 Manual Left-Hand Switch seems to be a solid choice for diesel enthusiasts and those looking to enhance their yard operations but may necessitate further evaluation for steam locomotive applications. **
