The Vivitar DVR786HD 1080p HD Waterproof Action Video Camera Camcorder comes with a case, remote, helmet & bike mounts. Customers have commented that the camera is easy to use and that the case is easy to open, despite one customer struggle. One customer noted that the vendor was willing to sell them parts to replace a broken case and lost remote, but another customer experienced poor customer service trying to resolve a known defect. The camera has a standard tripod mount and is waterproof with the case on. However, there doesn't appear to be a handheld mount according to a customer. Additionally, the remote is not waterproof. The battery life is short and one customer claimed that this camera is defective and that this was their second time purchasing it. Another customer was disappointed with the size and handling of the camera. Stills were not of good quality, but underwater video was excellent. Many customers report that the item is not as shown and that the reviews largely reflect disappointment with the product. It may be worth looking into other waterproof sports cameras such as the Blue Polaroid sports camera instead.
