The shorts have a flexible waistband, which stops at a certain point and is highly recommended. They cover the mid-knees, and are made of poor quality nylon. The shorts have a knife pocket, but it won't slide out. The legs drop right at the knees, and they have reinforced stitching in critical spots. The shorts have a heavier weight than expected, are comfortable, and have a lot of pockets.
