The protective lining inserted for laptop safety cannot be collapsed and therefore the backpack is always stiff. The backpack is unisex but the straps tend to slide towards the elbow for women. There is no chest strap, which could be a downside for some. Overall, the backpack is of good quality, made from recycled material and has lots of storage pockets to keep items organized.
