The Epson RapidReceipt RR-600W is a duplex receipt and document scanner that offers wireless desktop color. This scanner comes with receipt management and PDF software which makes it perfect for both PC and Mac users. One of the helpful features is that it extracts the date and total from receipts and suggestions are made for saving to a file. The scanner’s automatic document feeder (ADF) and touchscreen provide a user-friendly interface for scanning documents quickly and efficiently. Although the scanner has some unique features like these, it has some flaws in its programming such as the document feed setting, which can cause an alarm to go off when there are post-it notes or envelopes. The scanner also requires receipts to be flattened and straightened before feeding them. The directions for setting up the scanner are non-existent, but once set up it works great for most users. However, some users found that the scanner was not as efficient or productive as advertised in the commercials.
