The Leather Working Beginner's Kit is a good place to start for anyone looking to get into leatherwork. The kit comes with a detailed instruction booklet for beginners, and includes a range of tools to get you started. Some of the stamps in the kit are poorly made, however, most of the punches were good. The swivel knife will need to be replaced immediately as it is not of good quality. The tool box doesn't have any way to secure the items, so it is recommended to buy a separate tool roll or box for them. The needles, thread, and stamps provided in the kit are just fine. Be aware that there are no chisels for punching holes for sewing. There is a gizmo that looks like a hole punch but has interchangeable tips for that purpose.
