Answer: The bag cozy is for using for a stand bag on a cart, doesn’t have anything to do with stability of the cart. The type of cart will decide that. I am currently using a Model 8 on a very hilly course. Works great as long as you park cart sideways on hills. I actually use this cozy on my cart bag to make more clearance for accessing the storage net and storage console on the cart -

Answer: Yes, you can collapse the cart, but on my cart (Clicgear 3.5), you cannot fold the arms on the upper bracket without removing the entire cozy. -
