- 100% COPPER: These wires are made of pure copper, with no aluminum coating, and are 24 gauge according to the American Wire Gauge (AWG) standard. The wires are grouped into 4 pairs, and each pair consists of insulated, twisted wires that are color-coded for easy identification.
- FLEXIBLE: Made with stranded copper wires to withstand frequent bending and twisting necessary to connect electronic components.
- VERIFIED PERFORMANCE: ETL and 3rd party tested to exceed TIA 568-C.2 Category 6 industry performance standard and UL rated, which requires pure copper in communication cables. Designed ONLY for dry indoor installations.
- CREATE CUSTOM PATCH CABLES: Stranded bulk Cat6 cable is flexible and can be cut to custom lengths for building patch cables. Commonly terminated with RJ45 modular plugs and used in patching and network interconnect applications.
- PoE COMPATIBLE: Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications when used within applicable IEEE standards. Suitable for network devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.
