What can I use this epoxy resin for?
Answer: It's suitable for mold construction, table structures, glass laminates, and more. -

Is this epoxy resin UV stable?
Answer: Yes, it is crystal clear and UV stable, ensuring long-lasting clarity. -

Can I mix pigments with this resin?
Answer: Absolutely! It's compatible with DIPON effect pigments for customized designs. -

Can this be used for small scale projects like rings or is it too brittle?
Answer: Yes. But please mix at least 150 Grams (100A + 50B) of resin. -
Question:
What is the maximum thickness for one pour?
Answer: 10-15 mm. You can apply the next layer after 24 hours at 20 degrees. -
Question:
What’s the maximum depth which can be poured at one time? Can it be used thinly to cover a wooden kitchen table?
Answer: There is no maximum depth but the deeper you go the more chance of bubbling. -
Question:
Can this resin be used for making a serving tray?
Answer: Yes, it can be used for trays. Please make sure you seal the product afterwards with a 2K UHS Clear. -

Can I use this resin to make things like dice and small plastic objects?
Answer: It’s possible. -

What is 2k clear resin?
Answer: It starts out clear but this does yellow over time. -
Question:
How can I repair a broken curved bath panel?
Answer: I would add plenty of matting to the inside to make a strong repair then flood coat the outside with a new opaque colour. Make sure you rough up and sand the old surface first. If you need a second coat, pour another after 8 to 12 hours or sand after 24 hours and wipe the dust. -
Question:
Can I use this resin in stages for a large area?
Answer: No, you need to pour all at once. Stir very well to make sure you don't get bubbles on your work. If bubbles occur, let it dry, sandpaper over with fine paper, and redo. It must be dry. -
Question:
What should be used to clean tools?
Answer: Mix in a plastic measuring cup that always dries with a film on. Use about 3 times then bend until film breaks away & comes out. All other stirring sticks & plastic shot glasses for color should be thrown away. Any spillage can be wiped with alcohol or white spirit. Alcohol dilutes resin, so any resin that has sat for more than 40 minutes can be added alcohol to and can give a top up to the project if required. -
Question:
Can this epoxy be used for the top of whiskey barrels in direct sunlight?
Answer: If you want to turn the top of your barrel into a table, the answer is yes, but I would cover it in at least two pours as the first might be soaked up.
