Answer: The mower cuts very short (it's adjustable) and leaves a striped finish. -

Will this cut up to a fence? Or will it leave an uncut strip, and if so how wide?
Answer: It leaves a strip about 2-inch gap. -

Answer: No, they don't actually fold down, but the top half is held in place by two lock nuts so they can be separated for easier storage. -

Answer: Not adjustable height but the angle moves to the level you hold the handles. -

Does the chain drive allow the spinning drum to freewheel? i.e. if you stop pushing, does the drum instantly stop or does it spin for a bit afterwards?
Answer: The drum stops when you stop pushing. -

Can you shorten the handles?
Answer: No, the handles cannot be shortened for grass cutting but can be shortened for transporting or storing.
